The Casablanca Tea House at The Sultans Casablanca Palace Morocco

We recently received a question from a reader of the Morocco travel blog, who was kind enough to take the time to ask a great question to us and we are happy to try to help the reader with his question.

The reader tells us that he spend 17 months in Morocco during World War 2 and that he had some knowledge of The Tea house at Casablanca Sultans Palace.

The reader believes that the Tea house must have fallen into disrepair and tells us that the building was beautiful with lots of Blue and white Ceramic tiles and dark carved woodwork.

The reader also kindly provided some details of some photos which had been taken by an American serviceman who also served in Morocco during World War 2.

The reader also states that it is the place where the Moroccan sultan entertained President Roosevelt during the Casablanca Conference which took place in January 1943.

If anyone has any knowledge of whether this building is still in existance, or indeed, what happened to it, then
we would love to hear from you so that we can provide our enquirer with some more details. Of course....recent photos would be an absolute delight for all of us!
