New Marrakech to Agadir road is fast travel in Morocco!

Monday, January 09, 2012

The new Marrakech to Agadir road, since it's opening, has reduced the travel time between Marrakech and Agadir.

Previously, it took at least 4 and a half hours to travel between Marrakech and Agadir.

Since the New highway opened, travel is much safer between Agadir and Marrakech, avoiding the old Mountainous route, hogged by large lorries and trucks, some which were dangerously overloaded.

The new average travel time between Agadir and Marrakech is just 3 hours or so.

The new Highway is a toll road, but this is usually worth paying for a faster and safer journey.
