A 1 day excursion to The Ouzoud Cascades and Waterfalls

Marrakech excursion Itinerary:

After 156 km, across a pleasant valley, accede the most beautiful site of the middle atlas, the cascades d’ouzoud. There you’ll find a 100 meter-high waterfall set amidst a verdant of populated by a colony Barbary apes and many birds.

Once there, you can choose one hike of the numerous possible hikes with guide. This is a good place to enjoy a Berber tajine of the middle atlas.

Imi N’ifri (natural bridge) arriving in Demnat, we continue 5 km along the narrow road along the Mehasseur river valley until we reach Imi N’ifri, “doors of the Abyss” in Berber. This remarkable site is the result of water erosion against rock. At the top of this monumental natural arch, flanked by gigantic stalactites and stalagmites, swarms of crows and pigeons circle.

Be sure to check out the wild monkeys living in the trees.

After a restful and relaxing afternoon, we drive back to Marrakech.

Day 1

Essaouira is Coastal town, approx 2 and half hours driving from Marrakech.
The tour departs at 09:00hrs from Marrakech and arrives back in Marrakech at approx 18:00hrs.

Along the route to Essaouira, we will have the opportunity to stop and visit an Argan womens Co-operative. 

Essaouira's Medina is a UNESCO world Heritage site and combines history and culture with Modern Cafes and Restaurants.

Essaouira has a large and well organised promenade, hosting a large, sandy beach.
The beach is safe for swimming, though, as usual, parents should accompany their children in the water.
There is plenty of activity on the beach, with local boys playing their daily football, local families enjoying the beach and Camels providing Camel Rides along the sand. 

This is a perfect opportunity to spend the day out of the city and enjoy the cooler coastal town of Essaouira.

Day 1

The tour Departs from Marrakech at 07:20hrs in a modern, air conditioned minibus.
Travelling over the Atlas mountains, enjoying the magnificent views of the surrounding countryside below and we visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. This journey takes approx 2 and a half hours.
From there, after our break, we continue to Ouarzazate (approx 1 hour or so) for lunch break.

Lunch is available in the local cafe's.
After lunch, we continue along the Drâa valley to reach our destination of Zagora.
After a break in Zagora, we meet our 4 legged friends, our Camels, who will take us on a 1 and half hour trek into the dunes to reach our desert camp in the dunes.

Each person rides their own Camel and additional Camels are provided to carry your luggage.
The Camel trek is usually just prior to sunset, so that you may enjoy the sun setting over the landscape from the top of the Dunes.
Once we arrive at the Desert camp, we are greeted with a cup of delicious hot minty tea and we spend the evening under the stars, on the dunes and beside the warmth of the fireside.

A Half day city tour of Marrakech, sightseeing Marrakech city. 

Day 1:

Our vehicle will meet you at your Hotel in Marrakech Medina at approx 08:30hrs.

The first stop on the tour is the Katoubia Mosque, towering over the Djemaa el fna, you have a photo-stop here.
